Halloween is right around the corner, which means this is the weekend for Halloween parties. If you’re looking for a fun themed dessert to serve at yours, you’ll love these Cake Ball Brains from Beth over at Hungry Happenings. Cake balls are everyone’s favorite bite-sized way to get their cake fix, and with their oozing cherry blood and white candy coating, they’re the perfect treat to serve alongside other spooky treats (like these adorable banana ghost pops!).
These oozing brains start off like any other cake balls by combining crumbled cake with frosting. Then, simply fill white melted candy shells made in a brain-shaped silicone mold (available on Amazon through Hungry Happenings) with a bright red cherry filling and the cake mixture. Once they set, you end up with a delicious dessert fit for even the pickiest of zombies.
